There was a time when I was struggling financially.
I was trying to get my wife and me through seminary. I had a full time job.
We had two little active boys and a new born baby girl. I was struggling.
One week, I was so broke, I didn't know what to do. I paid the seminary bill. I paid the rent and other bills.
However, that didn't leave grocery money. I had to pawn my camera for grocery money that week. I loved that camera. It was a fancy camera that I used to take pictures of my kids.
After that time in my life, I heard a message that helped me to change how I was living. Instead of living in my past defeats and just responding to life's challenges, I learned to live a different way.
I learned to live in the power of what God has said.
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
He hath said. If God has said it, then I can do it.
It changed my life. This year, I prayed for a year to truly help people.
God told me that if I teach the folks, lives would be transformed.
If God has said, then I will do it.
